Starting Fresh (Again)

Well he we are again, another iteration of my portfolio site. Version number four, or five, now I think?

Truthfully, I think this one should stick around a lot longer; I'm no longer in Education and now in a 'proper' job, life has settled a bit more and I won't be moving the goal post so much anymore. Many of the previous iterations came from changes in what I wanted to do with my life, software then website development, to leaving University in a time where jobs are hard to come by, to getting into consultancy and finding my passion in Esports.

That being said, let's start from the top.

Who Am I?

I'm Travis, online I go by 'Traviiiii', and I am an Esports caster, more specifically play-by-play for Rainbow Six Siege. For those that don't know what that means, I talk over people playing video games competitively, more specifically focusing on hyping up the action and telling a story.

My background is in computer science, more specifically web development but I've dipped my toes in a bit of everything. In 2024, I fell into casting Esports, firstly as a joke covering a 2v2 tournament myself and friends had setup, but through finding it a lot of fun and encouragement from friends/talent at the Manchester Major, I took the dive into casting more official competitive tournaments later that year and the rest is history.

Over the years I've worked some really cool projects, from LANs with my friends, to LANs in other countries and online broadcasts working with people from all over the world; Siege has brought me so much more than I ever expected in such a short time frame.

Since March of 2026, I've settled in my day job, working in a role that's consultancy with some development thrown in. It's a lot of fun, and I get to work with an awesome team, and it still gives me the free time to do talent work.

Would it be cool if Esports was my full time role? Probably, but I love it how it is right now, I get to choose what I take and do, I get to keep doing it because its fun and not for a pay cheque. It's a fun industry and I get to work with so many great people, and that's what keeps bringing me back.

So What's This Website?

Well, that's still up in the air. Primarily, just a showcase of what I've done over the years, a place to store cool projects and I added a blog so I can write things. Whether I do frequently is yet to be seen, but it's good to have the door open.
